1972 Aston Martin V8 Series 2 South Africa
As with all traditional Aston Martins, she was entirely hand built with each car requiring 1,200 man-hours to finish. Factory fitted with a Tadek Marek designed V8 engine - the AM V8 was the successor to the 6 cylinder DB6.
Finished in its original colour combination of Cornish Gold with cream leather interior.
Only 288 Series 2 cars were built between April 1972 and July 1973 and although David Brown left the company in 1972, he had overseen development of this model and the first 34 cars still carried leftover 'DBS V8' badges, this example is one of the 34.
